Kevin, thank you for an informative session on BPM. It was valuable to get back to foundations. I wanted to get your thoughts on positioning of the business analysis skillset in an organisation that has strongly adopted six sigma. I can see the opportunity for them both to compliment and do not see them in direct conflict but what criteria would you use to assess which is the right skill set for any given situation?

Hi Neil, My general feeling is that a fair chunk of Six Sigma IS business analysis. A useful place to start might be Steve Gara's white paper: http://community.theiiba.org/library.htm?mode=view&did=36561&lid=5&wf=30
Hi Kevin Can highly recommend "Business Process Management: Concepts, Languages, Architecture" http://www.amazon.com/Business-Process-Management-Languages-Architectures/dp/3540735216/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1250673597&sr=1-2 for more advanced topics of Business Process Management and uses of BPMN.
